The bed carries the room
At Dragonfly Cottage, I wanted the king bedroom to feel calm and generous. That starts with a stable frame, comfortable mattress, proper protector and bedding that we can actually launder and replace.
People need light and a place for their things
A bedside lamp should be reachable from bed. There should be an outlet, a clear surface and somewhere for luggage. These simple details make a guest room feel thoughtfully prepared.
I leave room for the guest
Empty space is welcoming. It gives the eye a rest and gives guests room for their own belongings. A few pieces with warmth and character can carry the room beautifully.
